PURCHASING A GIFT CARD
Can I sent the gift card to someone else?
Yes! At checkout you have the option to send it to yourself or to someone else. You just need their email address.
Can I write a message?
Yes, there is space for you to write a message to the recipient.
Can I set a specific time to send the email to the recipient?
No. If you want to send the email to the recipient at a later date should select the ‘Email to You’ delivery option at checkout. You can then forward the email or .pdf at the desired time.
Can I buy more than one gift card at a time?
No. You can only buy one gift card at a time. When you click ‘purchase’ it will immediately take you to checkout.
Can I add a gift card to my cart and buy other products at the same time?
No, you need to purchase the gift card and products separately. This is because they have a different checkout system - sorry!
Do sale pricing and discounts apply to purchasing gift cards?
No. Sales pricing and discount codes can’t be applied to purchasing a gift card.
However, these discounts will apply to orders made using a gift card.
Do the gift cards expire?
The gift cards don’t have an expiration date.
USING A GIFT CARD
How to Redeem
After the recipient receives their gift card, they can redeem it by purchasing products and entering the gift card code at checkout. They can apply the gift card to any physical, digital, or service product. You can’t use the gift card to buy any subscription products.
Gift cards apply to the order total, including tax, shipping, and any transaction fees. If the order total exceeds the gift card value, they'll pay the remaining amount using your store's supported payment methods or another gift card.
If their order total is less than the gift card value, they can complete checkout without another payment method. The amount applied and remaining value displays in the grey box and in the order receipt.
Gift cards will always be in the currency GBP.
How do I check my gift card balance?
You will receive an initial email with the gift card balance. After entering the gift card code at checkout, you'll see the remaining balance if there is any.
Can I use less than the full value of my gift card?
When using a gift card, the full value of the gift card is always applied. It isn’t possible to partially redeem a gift card unless the order total is less than the gift card balance.
Can I use more than one gift card on an order?
Yes. You can apply multiple gift cards to an order.
Can I refund a gift card?
Yes. You can cancel and refund unused gifts cards. Partially used gift cards can't be refunded.
Can I refund purchases made with a gift card?
Yes. Refunding a purchase made with a gift card adds the refunded amount to the gift card's balance.
What do I do if I’ve lost my gift card code?
We can resend the gift card email notification to you, don’t worry. Just send us an email to hello@imouto.uk.
Can I redeem my gift card value in person at events?
Currently there isn’t the option to do this as we don't have a system in place. However this may change and so we will keep you up to date.
